Graphic Design
Brand identity, logo design, print, packaging, and marketing collateral from editorial-trained senior designers. Visual systems with the rigour of a magazine and the discipline of a brand book.
01 — Approach
How we engage.
- Brand identity & logo design — wordmarks, symbols, and complete identity systems built to scale from a favicon to a billboard, with the rationale documented so the brand survives the next hire.
- Brand guidelines & visual systems — comprehensive brand books: logo usage, colour, typography, grid, imagery, voice, and the rules that keep every future touchpoint on-brand.
- Print & editorial design — reports, brochures, lookbooks, magazines, and pitch decks designed and prepared for press, with real typesetting and real production knowledge.
- Packaging design — structural and graphic packaging that performs on the shelf and survives the production line, with dielines and print-ready artwork.
- Marketing & campaign collateral — ads, social templates, email, signage, trade-show, and sales material — a coherent system, not one-off files.
- Rebrands & brand refreshes — evolving an identity that no longer fits the company it represents, with a rollout plan across every asset and channel.
- Pitch & investor decks — narrative and visual design for the decks that have to land the round or the deal.
- Illustration, iconography & motion — custom illustration, icon systems, and brand motion that give an identity a recognisable signature.
- Editorial rigour. Our designers come from publishing and product backgrounds. The work feels considered and composed — the difference between a brand that looks designed and one that looks decorated.
- Senior-only delivery. A senior designer and an art director own the work — no juniors quietly billed at senior rates, no design-by-committee mush.
- Systems, not one-offs. We design the rules, not just the artefact, so your team can keep producing on-brand work long after the engagement ends.
- Production-ready, properly. Press-ready files, correct colour spaces, dielines, bleeds, and packaging that actually runs — because we know print and packaging production, not just the screen.
- Strategy before decoration. We start with what the brand needs to communicate and to whom, then design to that. Pretty that does not say anything is not a deliverable.
- One studio, brand to product. Our design language carries straight into your website, app, and product — backed by our UI/UX and website teams — so nothing feels stitched together.
- Stay-on retainers. Most clients keep us on a monthly creative retainer for ongoing collateral, campaigns, and brand stewardship.

04 — Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does graphic design / brand identity cost?
A complete brand identity system from SimplyRem runs $20,000–$120,000 depending on scope — strategy, logo, guidelines, and core applications. A brand refresh is $12,000–$50,000, print and packaging projects $5,000–$60,000, and a pitch or investor deck from $6,000. Ongoing creative retainers start at $5,000 per month. We quote a fixed range up front once we understand the scope.
What is the difference between graphic design and UI/UX design?
Graphic design is brand and communication: logos, identity systems, print, packaging, and marketing collateral. UI/UX design is digital product: app and web interfaces, user flows, and interaction design. We do both, they share a design language, and many clients hire us for both so their brand and their product look and feel like the same company.
How long does a brand identity project take?
A full brand identity typically takes four to twelve weeks depending on scope and the number of applications. A brand refresh runs three to eight weeks, and focused collateral or a pitch deck can be one to three weeks. We work in clear phases — discovery, concept, design, systemise — with live reviews so you see the thinking at every stage.
Do you provide brand guidelines, or just the logo?
A logo on its own is not a brand. Every identity engagement includes brand guidelines — logo usage, colour, typography, grid, imagery, and voice — plus production-ready assets in every format your team and printers need. The guidelines are what keep every future touchpoint consistent long after we hand off.
Can you redesign / refresh our existing brand?
Yes — brand refreshes are a core practice. When the foundation is sound but the execution has dated or drifted, we sharpen the identity while preserving the equity you have built, then update the key assets and provide a rollout plan. We will tell you honestly whether you need a full rebrand or just a refresh — they are very different in cost and risk.
Do you handle print and packaging production, not just digital files?
Yes. We design and prepare press-ready and production-ready files — correct colour spaces, bleeds, dielines, substrates, and finishing — and we know print and packaging production, not just the screen. We can work with your printers and packaging suppliers or recommend ones we trust.
Will our team be able to keep the brand consistent after handoff?
Yes — that is the point of designing a system rather than a one-off. You receive brand guidelines, organised asset libraries, and templates your team can use to keep producing on-brand work. For teams that want ongoing senior hands, we also stay on a creative retainer for collateral and campaigns.
Can you design our pitch deck or investor presentation?
Yes. We design narrative-driven pitch and investor decks — from $6,000, usually one to three weeks — combining the visual craft with help shaping the story so the deck actually lands the round or the deal. It is one of the highest-leverage pieces of design a company can invest in.
